I have always been drawn to the human figure and the idea that death is an evolving state. I seek to find the story within the story and set it up for the viewer to see it as I do. It is a game of hide and seek with light and shadow. However, I want the viewer to bring to the image their own opinion. Hearing what others have to say can actually change the image for me. In that small way, I consider the images I have created to be interactive. I love watching an image take on a life of itʼs own as people layer on their ideas about what it means. Itʼs a very exciting process. If an image that I created captures the imagination of another person, I feel as though I have been successful.
